but yeah, some guy egged him on and talked smack and kept it up, so it looks like young kicked his ass

I think anyone who decides they want to rant and taunt a pro athlete (to try and piss him off) or anyone better realize what's going to happen if they keep pushing buttons...and really if they keep it up then he better be ready to have his ass kicked.

That's just me...but a$$holes deserve their kharma too

Some guy text the morning show this morning and said Vince completed 56 percent of his punches and had two of them intercepted.

Agree with both of these posts. There aren't many males worth a damn that will take some drunk ******* trying to start a fight very well.

I'm not the biggest VY fan around, but the guy was looking to get his ass kicked.

You can argue all you want about whether or not VY should be in a strip club but he's a grown man that can do what he wants.

Besides, if all VY got was a $500 fine, it wasn't much.

I guess Tiger Woods wasn't serious about being an elite athlete either? Vince Young is not an elite athlete because he's not good enough not because of where he goes during his free time.

i dont care for nfl fball too much, but living here in nashville i pride myself as one of the biggest fairweather titans fans, BUT EVERYTIME I start to like VY he either talks or does something stupid.
I think he is a good guy all in all, but i dont think he is very intelligent.

Having said that at least it appeared he won the fight.
Looks like conference expansion is bothering everyone.

It shows his lack of maturity, you are right he is not good enough. But he would have a much better chance if he would grow up and quit acting like some punk in still in his teens. No grown person wants to fight just because someone throws the horns down, that is just moronic.

There's no audio, but I think it's safe for all of us to agree that most likely there were also "words" said that we're unable to hear, on both sides.....confrontations like these almost always go that way

Either way, don't you agree that this guy is 27 (I think) it's time to grow up. You should not be in strip clubs anymore and someone throwing the horns down is not something to fight about.

I agree more along the lines that he has to realize that, more or less, he's a celebrity (the sports media exposure), he - whether he really wants to or not - has to keep himself more composed than the average person, because he's in an age where anything and everything he does will end up with someone seeing it and everyone finding out about it.


That said, we dont know the audio. The initial reports said he left and then came back, so i just have a feeling the guy said something too (which could just as easily be along the lines of "F--k your momma" as "texas sucks"). I just dont think it was only an upside down horns
