whew - title of the article made it seems like Young was pulled a Haynesworth or Pac-man move... but the article reveals the truth.

Yea, I started getting nervous at first so I just figured I would pass along the same feeling!

Nothing big, you never want to see something like this, but it shows how Vince is becomming a leader. Nickey probably realizes it was stupid and nothing will happen.

Haha - but wow that choke hold/body slam was pretty uncalled for... they had a segment the other day giving examples of how Vince was already the clear cut leader of the team and how he placed a letter in everyones locker and some other stuff.

Yeah, he's also been working hard in the offseason with his wideouts to improve their plays. He has the dedication to be a great QB as long as he doesn't get torn apart by his 5th year.

Nickey got into a fight with someone last year too i believe...seems as though he spit in someones face or something.

edit: Lendale White spit in his face....

Props to Young for standing up for his boy. However, punching at a guy's helmet with your throwing arm.... stupid.

Good for Vince... we are going to need that leadership this season.

I love the unis. The light blue on light blue needs to go though.

This means Vince Young = punk.

Nothing like the star quarterback starting a fight with a special teams/2nd string DB fighting to keep his job. Real big of you there Vince.

I guess Nickey's choke hold take down of the WR had nothing to do with it...

No big deal. They were all joking around afterwards, probably won't be the last training camp fight between teammates.

Totally disagree, I loved it and I promise you his teammates respect him for it.

I doubt it. It is akin to Wayne Gretzky starting a fight. Ridiculous, because he damn well knows he doesn't have to finish it. Sorry, no respect there. Also, as I said this other schmuck is fighting for a job while Vince has a full bank account. Just absurd.

Are you just ignoring the part where every was laughing and joking about it afterwards? This won't cost anyone a spot on the roster.

At that point money has nothing to do with anything. Of course he doesn't have to finish, that's what his o-line does. You don't think people will fight for Vince, esp after this? Guarantee Roby goes after every ball like never before too.

I know how things work on a team. Of course everything is AOK after it is all said and done. It is just useless for him to have done so in the first place. It is Nickey's right to be aggressive on D, yes he is fighting for a job. The fight will not cost him his job, but to hang on to his job it is best for him to be aggressive. Like I said, if the receivers have a problem with it then one of them should have raised the issue. Not the STAR QB.
