I would love for LSU to smack them around just imagine how that city/state would feel to get to celebrate a NC a few years after Katrina that would be sweet
That's somewhat of an ingrate attitude seeing that after the huricane a boatload of folks moved to Baton Rouge and an equally huge number of Baton Rouge residents took in Katrina refugees.I am sure that the pain of watching their city demolished and half its residents leave forever would be tenderly assuaged by a championship for a school 80 miles to the north. That'll make it all better, especially for the large contingent of Tulane fans in New Orleans, most of whom hate LSU.
If it were the Saints I might agree with you. But I've heard enough New Orleans people bitch about the idiotic LSU rednecks to know that a lot of New Orleans residents will be rooting for the Buckeyes Monday night.
Maybe not as much this year because they have a loss, but like hm said they are number 1.
Yeah, I guess some folks can't help being a dumb ********... Before all you uninitiated get all freaked out, a ******** is a southern Louisiana Cajun person who is proud of the designation. It is what it is. There are a lot of people in Atlanta from New Orleans, and I run into a surprising number of them who can't stand LSU. I guess growing up loathing a team and its fans doesn't just go away, no matter what happens.

i don't know what's worse, me misspelling it, or it taking you 5 hours to realize it.I just realized Jake mispelled Virginia :birgits_giggle: Oaklahoma last night, boy our VN does not do well with state spelling.
to all those that lost money, i hate it for you. i thought VT would pull it out, and there for a while, it almost seemed unfair the way VT's Def line abused KU's offensive line. turnovers and special teams went KU's way and that was the biggest difference from what i saw. play that game 10 times and VT wins at least 7. they just happened to play 1 of the 3 KU would win last night. Good for the Jayhawks.
