You are ignoring the reports that some attendees at a minimum hope that it devolves into violence and that at least a few actively plan for that.

Having guaranteed rights has a potential downside. The power of the gun will never exceed the power of the press. Worry more about that.

They may have a burning hatred for Trump but it seems they may have a bigger fear of Pence. VP Pence seems to be the human version of presidential Kevlar battle rattle🤣

The gentleman in the video is Josh Wagner. His father was head of the state police. He's been situationally aware since childhood. The actual video was 12:21 and it explains a great deal. He's not big on guns but he's big on rights and lobbying against them being taken. He actually kicks the younger officer off his property when he got authoritative with him.

They pointed out he was taking pictures at the Capitol. Photography is not a crime in public areas and videoing public officials doing their duties is not illegal.
He's walking around the Capitol with a cane because hes a month away from a hip redo. Huge threat there.

Yet they still felt the need to open an investigation on him and drive 100 miles to ask him if he's a threat.

Once again, if they only use it for self defense. I’m ok with that part. As for an airplane, well it’s the same way. If someone would’ve had guns during 9/11 on those planes, then ain’t no telling what would’ve happened. We may not of even had these attacks.🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
