good game to watch thursday evening just to watch. Va tech has very good special teams play and maryland has been playing better.

Yep, that should be a pretty good one. I will be watching it with my father. He went to Tech and my mother went to UT. I sure am glad that UT had a bigger influence on me when I was younger! I live smack dab in the middle of UT and VT, so I pull for the Hokies too, but my blood is all orange and white!

my wife is a VT alumni...she took me for the tour around campus a while back....its was a typical ambush though ...had to buy her a 90 dollar sweatshirt while I was there in the bookstore.

Because Miami got beat by Maryland, and here they get massacred by Virginia Tech.

Yeah it does. I felt bad when Pittsburgh beat ND the week after the Irish beat us, but this must be even worse for FSU fans.

This game was over after the first 4 minutes. :thumbsup: When I turned on the game, there was approximately 12 minutes left before and it was 28-3. Talk about a butt whooping. :shakehead: Would like to see VPI win out in the ACC. :thumbsup: Think they'll need 28 against Miami to win.

apologies I cant remember the year but I took my vt alum wife to the VT/BAMA music city bowl a few years back. I watched in amazement as VT dismantled bama in Nashville. Micheal Vick was killin em on qb keepers and options. By the 4th quarter bama fans were making steady lines to the exits and the VT band started a chant that went....'heeeeeeey bama...where ya goin?'
