So I’m older than you (1974 grad from high school). We had no one close to as big as you. I don’t remember anyone we played did either. East Ridge high school. Chattanooga.Lmao! I was my high schools smallest OL @ 275. We had a RB that Majors recruited and all our coach wanted to do is throw the ball

Weinke’s Heisman doesn’t automatically make him a good recruiter, but on a list of things that make him an effective or useful recruiter, his Heisman is higher up the list than his time at IMG.

You obviously don’t understand what having ties to a school means in recruiting... the ties aren’t with the players but with the coaches who can assure players & families this guy can be trusted.It got us 1 kid that was from TN. Ties to IMG are severely overrated. Every school in the country stops by there regularly and none of the kids there would have been when Weinke was coaching
