Visitors for Charlotte

Ok legit questions... Has it been confirmed OP was with Morris? And have we confirmed who the undercover visit was?

Has it been confirmed that Sam Howell was here?

Makes sense, considering how bad FSU is.

Then again, Charlotte just took us to the wire...

Today showed that we need players in the worst kind of way. Blantantly obvious our offensive line is full of basketball players.

Defense is so lacking in big fast players but played well all things considered. If they packed it in we could have easily lost that game.

These recruits aren't brought in to show them a beatdown of a Conf USA team. But rather that they can play day 1 at a top program.

Exactly. You show them we have the facilities, the coaching staff, the conference prestige. They watch the game, and the coaches then show them the opportunity that lies before them.

If you're an offensive lineman and you see #57 get hands on a smaller defender yet still can't prevent him from making a play on the ball carrier... you know you're basically a day one starter for us.

Today was bad, but we’ve got to understand that a decisive victory over a a D2 team wasn’t the highest priority. Resting some guys, conservative play call, getting playing time for people I didn’t realize were still on the roster, etc. You don’t score 24 on USC one week and then 14 on Charlotte the next exerting the same effort. Next three games won’t be so painful.

I so wish our fans had a little vision. I know we're tired of waiting, but you have to look ahead.

Also they aren't a D2 team, they play in C-USA and have like a top 20 defense so they really arent even scrubs. Still, zero excuse for 14 points. I get what you are saying man but...gotta put up more effort than that.

Ha, oops. I work for a C-USA team. Probably should have known that, but oh well. The general point is valid, I think.

The fans deserve more than what UT put out today. Fans spend thousands of dollars for travel, time off work, and come watch their beloved Vols play football in Neyland.

Embarrassing performance. UT football should always give 100 percent effort each game and play to win regardless of who we play or when.

Did I hear the announcer say they were 3rd in FBS for rushing?

I agree and I do also understand the frustration of watching one football season after another go by wanting so much to be relevant once again like we use to be. Its hard to keep hearing 2 more years or 3 more years but that is reality that Coach Jurk left us in.
