Gionni Paul & Lamar Dawson are rumored to possibly be coming for the Kentucky game.

Kathleen won their playoff game and play again This Friday Night, I Wouldnt count too much on Paul making it in.

it would be a nice surprise tho

Yea then Paul wont be here, he said that if his team won then he would have to reschedule until after his season. Thanks for the heads up Jay.

It will be much more beneficial to visit after the season for a couple reasons. The coaches can spend more time and put the full court press on them. Also a 12 oclock game when most of the students will be home is not a good representation of Neyland stadium.

Any way Vols can grab another ILB AND OLB in this class? or are the numbers too tight w/ needs at RB, OL, DT and DB?

They def want a big time LB & they would make room for one. That's what our defense is missing right now big time.

I do like the LB's we have for this class right now though. Johnson and Harris are going to be some good LB's. Paul would definitely be a nice addition with his speed and I think we have a pretty good shot with him, but I think we need a "bigtime" LB. Like a Top 100 LB and it would really complete our LB class.

That would be a nice LB class. I have no idea the odds on Thomas though, but I'm hoping Arnett is all in his ear and if we get Hayes, him as well.

I've heard a rumor or two that we could be a factor with him and he could be the "big fish", however, I think that rumor is debunked now, but there's been a little smoke. Also, Arnett could very well be in his ear and if we get Hayes we would have 2 out of the Top 4 in the MI and both could very well sway him. We would then have 3 out of the Top 4 in the state of MI coming here. After stating that, I really don't know the odds of us getting him and if I had to guess I'd say it's a long shot, but with our need at LB Arnett could very well be in his ear. I hope so atleast.

The Vols need some line men on both sides of the ball! Come on big boys sign up and get our Vols back to the top again! :dance2:

I think they are worried about Paul committing elsewhere on his other visits before ever seeing Tennessee, that is why they were trying hard to get him on campus this weekend. Hopefully they can get him on campus ASAP.

They need OLB's badly. I would think they'd take 2 if the right ones wanted to come to Tennessee. Right now it looks like Paul is their only realistic shot. He has to be one of the top 3-4 guys on the board right now.

We could end up having some outside shot at Dawson. He has visited once, will be here on an unofficial for the Kentucky game, and will probably be back this winter on an official.

If he can't make the ky game maybe we can get him to the bowl game. If we could win big in a bowl I don't think there could be a better selling point for the improvement this team is making.
