Visitors for the USCjr. Game

it looks like Luc and Dixon will be on hand this weekend with their families in tow. Does anybody know if that is true?

I've been hearing the rumors on Luc all day, the news on Dixon is new. Can anyone with connections actually confirm both of these?

It's gonna be a huge weekend in terms of recruiting. These are subject to change and nothing has been confirmed yet, and I expect many more than just these guys. These are the ones who are rumored to be visiting for the USCjr. game SO FAR:

Official
Christian Jones
Terrence Mitchell
Chris Dunkley
Ted Meline
Victor Hampton
Christian Bryant
Ken Adams

Unofficial
Demetrius Wright

Anyone going to the game this weekend should write these names down and holler them out during the Vol Walk and when they are on the sidelines.....One thing I notice is that all the UT commits are surprised the fans know who they are. Calling the VOL ARMY!!!!!

Wow. All these DB's or possible DB's here in the same weekend? That's incredible. And now there are rumors of Dixon as well. I realize we need a safety or two in this class with the depth at safety looking slim for next year. How many Safety's would we take, and how many Corners?

Hey Vader. I posted in his thread but the Drew Phillips will be here for an unofficial. This from his dad. Lance sent him an email tonight. Not sure what he said but I will find out tomorrow.

Hubbs said there will be around 10 official visitors which is flat out ridiculous...

Miller and Willis will once again be coming back in but this time it will for their official...

Is there any difference between their usual weekends in Knoxville and this weekend since they'll both be on "officials"? Or is it just a tactic used by the staff to let them spend more time with the other uncommitted officials and help recruit them?

I understand it will be paid for but I doubt they spend very much during any other trip to Knoxville. Just wondering...

The big differences are that they get to stay for 1 or 2 nights and it is all paid for...

It will be good to have them both here all weekend (instead of just on Saturday) so they can help persuade the other official visitors. They need to be with Jones at all times...

It's a show up type of thing. There are always rumors about who will be coming on unofficials but nobody knows until Saturday to when they see who actually shows up...

Officials are different. They have to be known in advance. They have to be cleared and all that stuff so the school can pay for the trip, pay the UT player-host, etc...

bburger991 said that JUCO CB Dequan Menzie will be here with teammate Ken Adams this weekend.

"Right now it is between Alabama, Auburn and Tennessee. LSU was in it too, but they sort of fell out of it after I visited there recently. Tennessee has recruited me ever since Coach (Lance) Thompson went there from Alabama, but lately they have been recruiting me harder and I am going to visit there this weekend for the South Carolina game. Alabama and Auburn have both recruited me hard for a long time and there are things I like about both schools. I know a lot of people at Alabama and have a great relationship with Coach (James) Willis. At Auburn I just really like the coaching staff and how tight their players and coaches seem to be with one another."
