We can't lose a DT that never existed. But we did lose a guy name Melancon...

Well I don't know what you call having a recruit sign a LOI...then seeing that recruit end up at another school....but I call it losing the recruit

I didn't realize that....

Well....that makes sense...

Let's take a guy who we recruited for a specific position...a position we have no real depth or standout player at....then let's move him to the deepest and most reliable position we have for the upcoming season...where he will most likely stand on the sideline or possibly work his way to 2nd team and maybe start if there is an injury...

But hey...I'm sure they know something I don't about the whole thing...it just doesn't make much sense to me

It seems to have worked out well for Vlad.

Look, Brimfield had played one or two years of organized football before he came to Tennessee.

Did the thought ever cross your mind that maybe, being as huge as Brimfield is, that maybe he just out-muscled people in high school and now that everyone is as big or bigger than him he's not going to work out at DT?

He got a shot and looked horrible in practice. Therefore, he was moved to the OL.

Other than he had no real technique at DT, he wasn't very good at it and that he has a much better chance at making an impact on OL. All he did in HS was just overpower people and he can't do that now. He now has to learn all the little things that make players better.

Well I'm math retarded so if there's any chance I ever do math on VN, feel free to correct me.

UT needs more depth at OL Blamie. I'm personally concerned that they won't get another commit this year. If Brimfield can work there then that would be a huge plus.

If Sykes and Hall make it back then DT will be shored up a little... IF being operative.

As far as Marcus Davis is concerned, maybe Clawson and the new guys see something. That would be their area.
