Evidently you don’t understand recruiting. It’s not a rule in div 1 either. Coaches work very hard and spend a lot of time to get a signee and your ok with another coach calling them and and trying to get them to come to your school. There is such thing as called character.

I don’t believe TV wants to work hand in hand with a coach that has those ethics. He will get the players he needs.

Lol at bringing up ethics. Before you bring that up again just look up the number of commitments TV has taken and tell me if he plans to honor ALL those. You see TV learned "ethics" very well at Arkansas where a commitment is just a number until it needs to subtracted. Save your breath as TV is going to be far from "ethical" in recruiting and that is exactly the only way to win In Knoxville. I don't blame him but get that holier than Though BS out of here about "ethics".

But he doesn’t call other recruits once they have committed. That’s what we were discussing. If your going to be competitive you have to over recruit. It worked well for him at TCU and Arkansas. Does Walters over recruit? Sure they do.

Lol. You don't think he recruits JC freshmen and steals them away from their 2nd year?

Sure he does. He talks to the recruits coach also. You would think a junior college kid would want to be recruited to a 4 year school whether he’s a freshman or sophomore. Isn’t that why you go to a junior college? Either that or get drafted.

Hmmmmm. So what is ok on one side isn't on the other. Thanks for admitting that. You need an ethics class my friend. You can't have it both ways.

U have no clue. WS coach doesn’t contact the coach that he’s trying to recruit a kid from. This past summer WS contacted a pitcher that was starting school at UT and tried to get him to not report to UT and come to WS. There is a huge difference. That’s the reason no one will work with WS on a consistent basis. They find out quickly how Coach DS is.

This might be the dumbest thing you have said. There are WS players all over the ACC and SEC. it's a shame a school like that in our backyard now has the bridge burned because a young childish coach didn't get his way.

Tony,

Do you think it's ok to say a kid is "scared of the SEC" during a public radio interview?

For me it shows a childish immature coach that is going to burn bridges due to lack of judgement.
