We are talking about the S.E.C. not the southern conference or Div. 2. Bray will be good in a couple of years but to expect a skinny freshman to come in and start is ridiculous. He doesn't have the body yet or athletic ability like say a Pryor at Ohio State. It takes time in the S.E.C. no matter if your a QB, RB, OL, DL, etc... to get your body and mind frame adjusted to bigtime physical football. I think Nick Stephens or Matt Simms, if we sign him, will be the Vols starting QB next year. The reason Ainge and Brett Shaeffer started as QB was we didn't have a choice but to start one of them same with Peyton Manning and Brandon Stewart their freshman years. Bray I hope is good but it will take time and everybody on here thinks he is going to start from day 1 is putting too much pressure on this kid coming in. My biggest thing is I hope we get Teddy Bridgewater the next year and start getting a 4 or 5 star QB at least 1 every signing year so we don't have to go thru this mess of not having a quality QB and no depth at QB like we are today. I would like the Vols to be like USC where they have a Freshman, Soph, Jr and SR. fighting it out every year and the best man wins. Heck, all 4 of USC QB's could start at Tennessee or anywhere in the country, as they are that talented and I hope the Vols get that way too after 3-4 recruiting classes.
