if saban evaled him and offered, but no offense but I'm betting the farm he's right and your a bit off...

I agree with UTVols. I have seen Washington play and he is very impressive. However, it is against sub-par talent. IMO, he will not have a significant impact. He is very over-hyped. There have been players around WEST TN, that I have seen with way more talent and upside than Washington.

I see him as a corner/kick returner. IMO

Only time will tell. But your getting this from someone who has actually seen him play.

Just because Jake won Mr. Football doesn't mean he's a better "football player". He had an amazing year, I'm not taking anything away from him at all, but that doesn't mean he's a better player or anything. Plus, Jabriel IS stuck at qb, when at WR/DB (2 college positions he would play) he would, imo, receive every award obtainable lol.
And like i said, the camps and coaches are the reason I think he's not overrated.
Btw, USJ has just as soft a schedule as we do if you didnt know.

I agree. If awards meant anything the Heisman winner would be the first overall pick. Mr Football doesn't mean a thing in projecting a player to the next level.

I got to say I somewhat agree with the kid. I have been watching JW for the past few years and he is a great athlete. I am not sold on him as the best prospect in the state. He is fast and nimble but not very big. I hope he turns out to be great and we get him at UT but I am just saying I am not sure he is as great as all the hype says, but I know.... I know.... Nick Saban said blah blah blah..... LOL ......Like UTVosl#20 said.just my opinion. And I am not in high school, coach a rival team or any of that other stuff. If he is the top prospect in the state .... we having a down year. I think Marsalis Teague from last years class was much, much, better all around athlete and I have seen them both on a regular basis over the last few years.

Finally somebody agrees with me on this.

Mr.Football is a wonderful award and all but in no way marks the best players in the state. if that was the case then you'd be putting Jake( who is a great qb ) on the same level as Barry Brunetti which isn't even a close comparison. Mr. Football is heavily biased and just because JW wasn't a finalist this year has no meaning whatsoever.

JW might make a decent corner/kick returner. I don't think by any means, he is the top player in the state. IMO, teague is a better player & athlete.
