If it ain't hard to get, it ain't worth a damn. They have to battle us, too.

Depends on the situation. We know Prater is good. He has a ton of offers. If he had grown up a Vol fan and knew he was going to Tennessee from the start... he would still be worth a damn :p. I just thought Bama was pretty much eliminated. Was surprised to still see them on his list is all.

We look good. Going from his comments, I would say his top three are USC, UT & IL.

I agree. It would seem to be #1 USC, #2 Ill, and #3 Tenn from the article. I know he said good things about us, but he seemed to be more positive about USC and Ill, but that's IMHO.

It all depends on what article you read. In other words he seems to be really fired up about UT and saying he is "Definately going to visit". Thus far he plans to visit USC first against San Jose State then unofficially UT the next weekend vs. UCLA. Which game atmosphere would you think would be better?! Get him here and let the coaches work their magic!

He changed his visit. He is coming for the Ohio game.

I spoke to him last night about a visit and all he's set up is a visit to SC.

Then reports came about a visit for UCLA and then Ohio.

I spoke with hin again today and like last night he said no visit has been set up. Official or Unofficial.

He is working to get one set but as of right now his only visits are both to SC within the next 30 days.

I think it is usc, ut, okla, ill, bama and you can write off notre dame(not much interest) considering he forgot to even say anything about them in the article.

It's cool, if we get him, fine. If he goes to USC that's ok too. We'll get Cobbs and we already have Milton and Ambles to step up to the plate.

USC is ahead by a mile at this point. However, he likes UT and isn't going to make a quick decision.

This one is a long way from over.

I'd say right now that USC leades simply because he is paying his own way out for a visit this weekend. Then just about a month later he is checking out SC again on an Official visit.

Thats not to say other teams don't have a shot right now.

He had high praise for Tennessee, Illinois, and Alabama. He even had a visit set to check out UT right before SC but things changed and had to cancel.

My guess is if he doesn't pull the trigger on SC after a few weeks of his official to SC then it will go drag on a long time.
