Im hoping that he isn't that impressed with his official to USC and then when he comes to Tennessee for a game that he will be impressed with our passion and game day environment.

If he can get past these two visits w/o committing we have a great shot. A cooper commitment would make this very interesting.

Like i said in another post! Any kid that has USC as there #1 right now is most likely going to USC. Hes all Trojan Fellas! We cannot compete this year and maybe next year with them or florida. What kid would not want to go there. Cali has fast cars, beautiful women, and a beach! Same with florida! If ya want to be a college star ya go there. Just like if ya wanna win a super bowl you go play for the Pats!

I am still not sold on USC and who knows where his dad really wants him. Remember his dad has only visited Illinois and UT. He has not been to USC or Oklahoma. Parents get all caught up in the moment just like the players, maybe even more so. Hence look at Scroggins father. Also it doesn't always workout best for USC players. Look at J McKNight the best RB in the country from LSU and it looks like he might be playing DB this season.

In regards to Notre Dame his cousing played there at QB/WR. Also the only reason he thinks highly of UA is mostly thanks to Phillip Sims. He never showed interest in the school, until PS called him, but he has never visited and hasn't set anything up so I think it comes down to USC, Oklahoma, and UT. Those are the only schools so far he has mentioned he will visit.

I still say Oklahoma.

Tennessee has better looking women than Cali by far IMO, with the exception of celebrities and models in hollywood.

One aspect of Prater's recruitment that seems to have been mostly overlooked is the Robert Woods factor. I think that most of us on here get the impression that Prater loves the hype and wants to be the gem/poster boy/stud of whatever class he's a part of. That's why I think that if Woods commits to USC--and many think that he will--Prater might shy away from the Trojans. Then, in my opinion, it would become a UT-OU dogfight, seeing as how ND, Alabama, and Illinois are longshots at best; against OU, and with Ambles, Fulton, Milton, and possibly Cooper in KP's ear, I like our chances.

Now some of you might be saying: We have Milton and Ambles committed, what's the difference between that and USC nabbing Woods? Here I would just point out that Ambles and Milton are solid four star guys, whereas Woods is a solid five star with rising stock. If Prater comes to UT, he is the big stud of our class. If he goes to USC along with Woods, he would be, as hard as it is to believe, a second-fiddle signing.

He is only second fiddle according to ESPN. I do not put alot of faith into their ratings of players. I saw their behind the seen war room part of the show. It looked like to me a bunch wannabe athletes that are now barstool QBs that think they know everything about college football. I would bet that there are more knowledgable people on this site when it comes to recruiting than on ESPN.

BTW Rivals and Scout both have Prater as the number WR in the class and both gave him 5 stars. ESPN is just trying to get into the game, and hope they get lucky with their predictions to gain some credibility.

I agree with the statement that the women are hotter in Tennessee than in California.

I am not really hopeful that Prater comes to UT. Sounds like he really likes USC, but you never know with our staff. I am not counting him out completely, but but the kid does seem enamored with USC.

I don't want to seem argumentative but it's hard to have credibility saying that women are more attractive in TN than Cali, especially in the LA area--which is possibly the most looks-focused area of the world, in large part thanks to Hollywood. Being on the entertainment side now and having spent my youth in TN I feel pretty confident in saying LA has the best ratio of attractive women in the US, if not the world (South America, in particular, Argentina, might have a say otherwise). Now, as far as "natural beauty", perhaps TN has a fighting chance against LA. But Playboy & Hollywood & modeling agencies have a pretty ridiculous amount of options in southern Cali to chose from (should I even mention the porn industry lol). Now if one wants to argue about "quality of women", I'd say that's more credible.

Nevertheless, this is pointless. I hope we get Kyle Prater. And I hope women aren't one of the major deciding factors but rather football & academics. Then again, I know from experience how an 18-year old thinks. I still think like one sometimes (just look at my avatar for goodness sakes), so what can I say...

Live in Cali, the women aren't hotter here the temp is! They just wear less clothing as a result..back to football now, other than the 2 stadiums in LA no one cares about college ball, if he loves the game he won't go to USC.
