It's probably not assembled here but you're not American if you don't innovate with available technology. As a farmer I'm very American if I buy a tractor even if it's assembled in Mexico as opposed to keeping my horse and plow

I hear ya. But now we have fools in government that are doing everything they can to drive more of the production overseas.

And people will be surprised when jobs disappear.

I hear you but those machines don't call in sick, quit 'cause they found another job, ask for more pay, or demand health insurance. In today's environment, it'll be darn near impossible to even find cashiers. Walmart employs 1.6 million Americans. They're doing their part

Walmart has taken all those cashiers and have them picking your groceries and checking them out.....actually there seem to be more of them.

I don't go through the check-out line anymore. I go through the "self check-out" line now.
Some people seem to find that this is difficult to do & avoid the process for some reason.
