My wife did 25 years in the cardiac cath lab.
You would not believe the number of โ€œyoung and healthy โ€œ people walking around with no idea that they have a serious issue. A large number of them are in the over exercising category. The guys that ride their bikes 50 miles a day. Ect.

She retired before Covid so I canโ€™t speak to how she feels the numbers may have changed. But itโ€™s a real problem very few know about

I never got the extreme range people. Marathons are famous for killing the first guy who did it. Even if you survive or even thrive doing it that is a TON of stress on your body.
