The USA didn't stop most of it. On the contrary, the USA simply modified slavery into a different form. Then rebranded it. Underpaid Mexican farmworkers were mistreated as usual and designated a derogatory label. Africans were derogatory labeled, received inferior pay and underfunded education, and regulated to ghettos. Same thing with Native Americans, but at least they were booted to reservations, until/unless oil was found there. Then like Osage people, ended up being killed, relocated, or both. You don't need a whip for slavery to be slavery. Got rid of most of it?? Yeah right, but then you're a MAGA, so it is imperative you lie to yourself and anyone who is uninformed or willfully ignorant enough to swallow your lies. I ain't him.
