The drive through Missouri absolutely sucks, specifically the I-70 stretch across the state. North of KC and 40 miles of STL is fine. I did it last week and said the only way I’m going back for the finals is if I fly, I can’t do that drive again.
I found it to be fairly nice as long as you aren’t expecting anything amazing. The bluffs starting about 50 miles east of Omaha start to make it somewhat close to Western scenery.

I couldn’t put my car on cruise for more than 2 miles at a time cause everyone in the left lane wants to max out at 70 MPH. The up and down “hills” just killed any kind of consistent traffic flow.

Made my reservations after the game last night. Flight was $328 round trip from Knoxville to Kansas City. Car rental is $45 a day. AirBNB is $60 a night. Not even going to count the meals. Time spent with entire family, other 2 sons and wives coming, and seeing son play in the National Championship. Priceless.
Woot! Woot! 🧡

Would love to go. The price of flights is about $700 round trip plus the hotel will be about $325 per night.

I thought about going Sat or just Sunday.

Tix about $250 per most likely unless they’ve increased since an hour ago.

So you’re looking at $2300 plus meals for two
So, what is your point????

Won’t be able to make it; but considering how hungry we are as a fanbase for something to celebrate, I’d imagine there will be a lot of orange in that stadium. Those of you who are going be safe and be loud. GBO

That is so true! I live in KC. I’ve never driven anywhere I hate as much as I-70 between KC & StL. The worst! Packed semis the entire way that will pass another truck going 1 mile per hour slower up hill. I’m so angry by the end of every trip lol. People hang in the passing lane. They don’t care they are driving under the speed limit

Describes my trip to a T. Passing lane maxed out at about 72 when I was trying to run 78-80mph while the right lane was upper 60’s. Felt like it would take 5-10 miles at a time to find some clean air then that would last for 2-3 miles and back to small, packs of congestion.
