Well the dugout on our side was as dead as could be and our boys are getting put down instead of picked up. The game last night had 7 different pitchers. How does a pitcher correct his flaws in 3 batters? I heard the coaching staff was mad at the pitchers because of the loss'. Where have the runs been? We can't hit the ball until the last coupe of innings.it starts with the pitcher and catcher put doesn't end there.

as i have said elsewhere, i have zero confidence in the present a.d.'s competence in picking a coach of anything, be it football or tiddly-winks. so, as long as he's where he is, i say let raleigh stay so we can see how far he can run his program into the ground. judging from the latest results, that's pretty d-----d far.

Breaking News...Hamilton just announced that UT will be letting the head coach go because it's time for UT to seek a new direction.

Oh, no wait, that was what he announced when he fired Delmonico and brought in Raleigh. Well, I'll give Hamilton one thing...he was right when he said the program was going to have a change in direction.

I was at playing/riding the bench at Carson-Newman when we beat UT an Delmonico was the coach. It was at CN though. UT has yet to play them since. That being said UT was much better then and under Delmonico. He was a jerk but he definitely was a better coach or at least a better recruiter of Miami based talent. Point is, anybody can lose to anybody in baseball (more so than other sports I think), esp when UT has their mid weeker in the mound and the small school might throw out their ace. That all being said, Raleigh's surrounding body of work makes this more awful

Nothing is acceptable outside of a mid-season firing and replacement with an interim or hiring of Chris or Rick. It's two seasons past fixing this thing.

Unfortunately, in this case the blue hose also had a backup midweeker pitching so we were definately not facing their ace. Your other points are well made. I can remember beating Florida State one year when they were ranked no. 1 and we pitched an outfielder with a slow middle school curveball and it gave them fits.

Typical pitcher's parent complaining about run production. You should "pick up" the hitters.

I always love the "because B happened we should have never done A" argument.

Greatly mis-interpreted. I'm not putting anyone down. Coaches or players. The talk of the team is how bad we pitched and that's our downfall where as we haven't hit the ball good either. Our pitching will always need improvement but its not the sole reason we lost. Again I'm not putting down any of our team members. They need to be picked up and not put down. We fall behind it points and everyone starts preparing for the lecture of how bad we played. My old coach always stated that we as a team won games and he as a coach lost. He took the pressuer to keep us cool and ready to play the next game.

That is true how does a pitcher correct themselves with 1-3 hitters, the answer is they dont.. sometimes it takes some time to get into a groove but Rollie Pollie never gives them a chance (only if you are a starter). that is how he has been since he has been here. He expects them to be lights out asap .. and that is always ideal however it is not the norm. And forget about the pitching coach..they had one of the best 2 yrs ago and RP fired him. I feel bad for the pitching staff.. its the same song different verse....7 pitchers .. ridiculous.. and forget about what it does to their mental state..and their ERA. Sometimes putting a guy in for 1 hitter and then reaming them a new one if they dont strike everyone out! Time for RP and the rest of his banditos to go!!!

Oh and Kelly, forget about Rollie Pollie taking the heat for the losses he always blames someone else. You know like you said your coach did.

I was just giving you a hard time but I didn't misinterpret "where have the runs been? We haven't hit the ball until the last couple of innings." :)

We should "pick up" Raleigh. Granted we would be risking a severe back injury. :)

I doubt all of us together could "pick up" Raleigh!

Sorry Kelly, but you are just now finding out that TR does NOT take the blame for losses. For the past 3 years, he has blamed pitching. He fired an awesome pitching coach for the mediocre one we have now. But he can tell this one what to do and that's what he wants. TR gets in the heads of the pitchers and screws them up. There is no development of these guys--just criticism when they don't perform.

After we pick him up, are we throwing him out the door? I will help.

Raleigh doesn't have a clue when it comes to motivating players. He would rather berate them and make then feel stupid. Most of these guys do not even like playing for him. He should be history in about 6 weeks.

Who are Chris and Rick?

The Blue Hose beat Clemson earlier this season. Troy also belted Auburn yesterday.

They were throwing a backup midweeker? No, that was their ace. The same ace that beat Clemson this year. I see you pay attention.
