The offensive starters for Tennessee have a combined weight of 2876 pounds. The defensive starters for Oklahoma have a combined weight of 2714 pounds. The offensive starters for Oklahoma have a combined weight of 2895#. The defensive starters for Tennessee have a combined weight of 2601 pounds. So our offense outweighs their defense by 162 pounds. Their offense outweighs our defense by 294 pounds. Wonder if quickness will come into play? Go, Vols! They may be too big, which may give our D-line an athletic advantage when rushing the quarterback and getting to the ball in the run game.

Won't matter. Jancek is a fool if he goes to OK thinking we have a shot playing 3 and 4 down the whole game. We have 5 DTs, 5. You can't run 4-3 fronts all game. One of the benefits of having Crohn's disease is when you get in the middle of a flare up and miss a semester of school you get to watch lots of football. I went over the UT games multiple times. Against Utah State we ran 2 down fronts. We blitzed Weatherd up the middle a ton, and we used our quickness to our advantage. I expect to see 2, 3, and 4 down fronts. I expect us to run under, over, even, and bear fronts. We will bring the pressure. AJ will play every down, so will Cam. For us to be in the game come 4th quarter it'll take three big things.
1. Offense has to sustain some 4-6 minute drives and score off those drives, even if it's a FG.
2. Maggit, Weatherd, Veeren, L. Lewis, JRM, AJ, J.Williams, O. Williams, and O'Brien have to have at least 3 sacks, 7-8 rush the passers, and 6-7 TFL combined for the entire game.
3. We have to contain the run on defense. If OK runs on us easily it'll be over by half time just like the Oregon game last year. Our defense will have to play aggressive and mistake free for us to be in the game by the fourth quarter. We will have to get some 3 and outs and stay off the field as much as possible.
In the end, I believe special teams, no offensive run game leading to multiple 3 and outs, Worley forcing the issue because of the lack of a run game leading to turnovers, and no d-line depth is going to be just to much for us to over come. I'll be watching and cheering the whole way, but I've set my expectation meter on very low for this game.
It blows my mind that with that OL, people around here think Tennessee can score an offensive TD on Oklahoma. Oh well, more money for me.
Paging Dr. Negavol. I hope you really did put your money where your mouth is. This team will keep it close and has a chance to pull off the upset.
Sincerely,
Dr. RoseglassesVol

I think you're underestimating us a bit and overestimating them a lot.
