Not on 104.5 in Nashville tonight due to Titans' game pre-empt. Got to hear CBJ on "The Nation" Sunday night, though...without Buckeye Bob, fortunately.

He just talked about the efforts they will make during the recruiting dead period. They are going to use this time to verify the caliber of the recruits, watch film and contact folks that can shed light on the caliber of the recruits personality and personal qualities. He said it has been a hundred miles an hour over the past few days. Also said he is very excited about the Zman as the receivers coach. That was about it.

I understand that the coaches are balls to the wall with things to do but I wouldn't say there was much substance coming out of this brief interview; wake me up in the spring and let's see what happens, otherwise, pretty B-O-R-I-N-G. Hard to get excited when we're starting over again; best thing is Dooley did some good recruiting so at least the cupboard isn't bare this time.
