Hate to hear that. Cancer is brutal. All the best to those who knew him.

That is a really bad cancer. Condolences to his family and friends. Losing a fellow Vol hurts like Family; we basically share our lives with each other; the ups & downs that are unique to Tennessee Vols. RIP my Brother; I never met you, but I know you.

Chad was my old roommate at TN. We only, vaguely, stayed in touch through Facebook. Thanks for sharing as I didn't know.

Mannnnnnnn he was my guy and a great friend. He poured into our program at NPA like it was his own. His son is a part of the grounds crew at UT now and I know this will tear his heart out as his boys loved their dad and would give their last for him to have overcome the cancer.

Yes, I just confirmed your friend was my roommate. Living in Florida, I've been out of touch so your initial post caught me off guard. One of his Hendersonville classmates and another roommate told me. They knew he was sick but had no idea it was cancer. He was a really good dude. I hate it for his family and friends. Take care and thanks again.

Guys we lost my guy Chad Waters aka LakesideVol on Volquest and not sure his name on here. He became sick after the college baseball playoffs this past year. Last week we watched the game and he told us he had stage 4 esophagus cancer. Then this a.m. he passed away. His an is on the grounds crew at UT and needs our prayers. Losing Chad will affect a lot of ppl including all of us at NPA. Here in Nashville we had a lunch crew that included a lot of Vol fans including the great @LWSVOL Chad will be dearly missed

I’m sorry to hear this. Thank you for sharing. Prayers for his family and friends.
