Luke Skywalker sending tweets now also. Unreal how this video has gone viral in 24 hours. Truly shows an amazing example of humanity at its finest.

JG is really a good guy -- he took alot of garbage from the fans last season -- hopefully now he will get the proper coaching he needed, to succeed at UT

He's absolutely won me over. The guy is a leader. The way he and the other Vols have reached out to this child speak to their character.

This story is one that sticks with me. I’ve watched that video a lot of times and have cried just about every time. I was his age when I was bullied and made fun of on a daily basis because i had a rare hair condition where I lost my hair. Those experiences still stay with me unfortunately, but I can move past that stuff and know that I’m a lucky man that has a wonderful, beautiful wife and life at 35.

I’m sure Keaton will power through. I’m sure he will.

Love all of the outpouring of support for the kid. Maybe his mother can take a more open view to the world.

Who Is Kimberly Jones? A Viral Dream Might Be Turning Into a Nightmare for Keaton and His Mother
I pointed this out in another thread. No way the mom’s a racist. She had a photo of her son on Facebook with a black man and they were both smiling. I don’t know if the man was a family friend or not, but it appeared that way from the caption. What we have now is a national smear campaign.

Gotcha, so she was photographed smiling with a black man, so there is no way she can be racist? Can’t argue with that.

Anyway the Internet is an interesting place. Anything in your Facebook history gets looked at and noted. Hopefully the kid sees that there are good people out there, and maybe doesn’t listen to everything his mother is teaching him, if her Facebook posts are accurate.

Yes, it is an interesting place. A SJW finds pictures of rebel flags on her Facebook page and states the lady is a racist. Then people such as yourself perpetuate that madeup story because it promotes your agenda. If there’s actual proof (which at this point there isn’t) that she is indeed a racist, that doesn’t change the fact that her son is scared to go to school because of bullying.

Anyone believing these narratives about racism and looking for money needs to take a step back and reconsider their principals.

1. unrelated, nonresidents of east Tennessee are spreading the narrative.
2. the narratives have been challenged and some already proven false.
3. this is the same group of people that react and even sometimes engage in false racial incidents that, over time, have been proven fabricated or self inflicted.
4. these people are changing the topic. A ten year old girl committed suicide over bullying. let's take a look at this issue.
5. looking at the bullying issue and fixing it might help social media with the younger generations. people who make up stories with racial undertones are the bullies of social media. they spread and create an angry mob to push some way of thinking and that group isnt the only one that does it. it happens from many different groups.

I think it’s important that we be able to separate what is going on with the child and the mother.

No kid deserves to be bullied and it is great to see that so many people are reaching out to support him. It really shows how great humans can be.

As far as what is happening to the mother, it is rather complicated. I am operating under the premise that her Facebook post with the confederate flag is actually hers and all the other noise is not accurate. She went to a very public forum and posted strong opinions on what is a controversial subject. Whether you like the confederate flag or not, you cannot deny that it is a hot button issue and has been since the war ended. She did not post her thoughts in her private diary and then tuck them under her bed. She put them out in public and put her name to them. She deserves any criticism or support she gets regarding that. Do I know if she is a racist? I do not, I don’t know the lady. That said her post certainly doesn’t give me the warm and fuzzies, and I don’t think it is out of line to have questions about her feelings about different races.

With that said, it is clear that the Internet has once again taken things too far as it often does and the angry mob has formed. That is unfortunate as the mob is not discerning and can ruin a person’s life.

I am not going to lie and say that the mother’s post didn’t take some of the shine off of the feel good for me.

I hope that this will be a great teachable moment for the boy and his family that there are tons of great people in this world. That said, stuff like this is why I try to be as thoughtful as possible when I post things on social media, because it is a public forum for anyone to see.

So if I can provide a picture of David Duke smiling next to a black person, that would prove he's not racist?

Is David Duke posting this photo in what looks to be an intimate setting? Just stop. You didn’t see the photo, so have zero idea of what the situation was. Go take your hypotheticals and shove em.

Oh the irony.

Neither do you hoss; and you don't know what her beliefs and feelings are based on a photo. The difference is, I'm not the one declaring I have the awesome ability to judge a person based on a photo; that would be you.

So how about you shove it?
