Because I spent 20-some-odd years telling my kids "Because I said so", and I'm looking for a better line to use on my one-day grandchildren. I'd like to think that someone making a mill per year can do better than "because I said so."

Yep! Used many times. Along with "Because I'm bigger than you." :)

I'm still curious as to why CDD is so adamant about not changing one single thing for one single game.

I don't want to see us come out in some wacko feathers-and-flames thing like Oregon, but I don't see what's wrong with doing something different for one game. The souvenir sales alone would cover the cost.

I think we need to go back to the uni's of the mid and late 90's with the black outline on the road jersey's and the solid white pants with the power T on the thigh!!

I heard something about wanting the players to focus on basic fundamentals and learning the playbook and not worrying about what they are going to wear. I don't know, though, seems like a crazy list of priorities to me.

Looks like you went through valentines day and no one even posted in you.I will try to Bump you to the top today and all the people who want new uniforms will post in honor of you.Just ignore all the haters out there and those oldie but goody fans out there that hate change.

DeerPark, what kills me is knowing there is a pile of alternate Tennessee uniforms Adidas has pitched that us normal fans will never be able to see. I for one would just love to see them just for the sheer curiosity. I don't care if Tennessee ever changes uniforms til the end of time, I'm just glad they finally got the orange right.

I kind of think we'll showcase some new alternate jersey at the chick-fil-a opener. Teams did it last year. Kind of goes with the sybolic "new beginning" for UT football. Idk I think it'd be cool. I love our jerseys either way.

Hopefully, they look better than these ugly uniforms that uga wore against boise state in the dome last year.
