That would be an incredibly stupid thing to do which means yeah some would probably crow about it. However, enthusiasm and getting the fanbase involved and excited is a very good thing for a program that has just went through a ton of crap. It would also be a good thing for our coaches to reach out and if, they can do what Pearl did in some way, even a small way, get a beat down and disillusioned fanbase fired up.

Positive energy always helps.

Praying for you brother. Atlanta is pro-UGA but there are a lot of fans for other teams. To live in Bama as a UT fan at this period, with where the two programs stand, has to be a lot of fun.

I go every year. It is pretty good if you have a young kid and want to do a trial run for the fall or just to give them a chance to meet players. If you want to see compelling football, the spring game is not the event. I enjoy meeting Vol fans and spending a laid back afternoon in Neyland with my family. When i was a student, it was a great opportunity to practice the bourbon smuggling skills.

Thinking about taking our little man this year. Took the in-laws last year and they are already excited about this year.

I DON'T hate Bama but plan on being there just the same. The fact that you correlate O&W attendance with Bama is a streeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetch. BTW, the ONLY SEC team I pulled against this bowl season is Vandy. I harbor as much dislike for them as many of you do Bama (except for the women's bowling team).

I always get more nervous the fewer people there are. When the gates are jammed with people trying to get in is the easiest time to get the goods in! I always carried a binocular case. Worked like a charm.

When I was in the band at UT we mastered the art and after pregame we started passing the bottles up down and all around

I do believe that strong attendance at the Spring Game would be helpful. Every time we can show that our fans are extremely interested (more rabid perhaps than any other team), this helps in recruiting. I always felt good seeing more 'orange' at Bowl Games for example than the opposition. This demands more attention from the National Press. But, yes, the 'cheer leading' nature of this thread is a bit 'over the top'.

Mainly, I'm waiting to return to relevance. For instance, am I the only one annoyed that on the Front Page of ESPN College Football, you have specific links to Gator Nation, Dawg Nation, .... But., I've never seen a front page link to Vol Nation.
