I am seriously so tired of getting on these boards and seeing complete hysteria from some of these people on this board. I really do not know what you guys expect, seriously we just played a top 5 team and lost by single digits. It is honestly unreal how insane the expectations are from some of the people on this board, i'm beginning to think many of you did not even watch the game. I know a lot of this stems from the passion we all have for Tennessee sports, but at this point it is laughable how some of you are acting:
1. Maymon played a good game tonight, he got many pivotal tie-ups and rebounds against Patric Young out there, granted he did mess up a lot down the stretch but aside from those last 5 minutes he played a good game. And he played his heard out, so this "Maymon doesn't even care" stuff is trash.
2. Tonight's loss was not on Cuonzo it was on execution of our players. Jordan Mcrae played a great game, but he took a couple shots in crunch time that he really shouldn't have. And Maymon killed us too.
3.It's been said a lott before but i'll try again, Bruce is not coming back. So we need to stop with that it makes us look ridiculous.

Those of you claiming the sky is falling and say we should fire Cuonzo immediately to salvage our season, please go back to putting the for-sale signs in Butch's yard. You guys are laughable.:salute: GBO and Go RATIONAL Tennessee fans. Let the season play out, then make your judgement on Zo and our team, all i ask. Criticism is okay, but this is getting ridiculous.

This post proves your expectations have gone down with the program. So what they are good. So what if they are ranked number 3..we should have pulled this one out tonight if it weren't for Martin's inept coaching and his game-killing timeout.

You claiming Maymon had a good game with 8 turnovers tells me all I need to know about your basketball IQ.

This game was huge for tourney chances. The reaction has more to do with another wasted opportunity.

You tell me who would have done a better job rebounding against Patric in the post than Maymon though? No one else matches up against him and was fighting with him like Maymon was.

You telling me a timeout was the reason we went on that 3 minute dry streak was because of a timeout and not our poor shot selection by our players tells me all I need to know about your basketball IQ.

It's not just tonight's loss for me, it is all the other ones that has happened under his watch. I guess it is not Conzo'z fault that Tennessee has not made the Tournament since he has been coaching huh? Have never liked the hire and never will, NIT bound.

Not saying we've had a good season. TAMU and Vandy were bad losses, and i understand people being upset about those but the season is not over. For all we know this team could win out. I'm just trying to say give this team a chance, the season is not over yet. And we shouldn't react so irrationally to losses against the 4th ranked team in the country

They're not winning out. Not with this offense. Maymon is just about a liability and the worst part is, no one on the bench is better. They are what they are. Probably NIT bound and hopefully looking for a new coach..

I am getting sick of being told we overreact after each loss. It's not an overreaction at this point. It's reality- this COACH SUCKS!!!

Cuonzo Martin is a horrific coach and should not be here anymore. Thought the same thing about Derek Dooley.

Please tell me how I'm "rooting against our team". Go ahead and give it a shot, but know beforehand that I'm going to shred you the same as the Dooley idiots and I won't take it easy on you.
