Without good coaching we wouldn't have even been in the game.

the funny part is, you really believe that. the sad part is, if Tn had a good coach they would not be depending on other teams to lose for Tn to get into the tourney.

Overreaction here? In the place where 95% of these dopes have never been to a Tennessee football game, much less basketball? Surely not..

I'm tired of hearing about how tired others are. Don't sign on if it hurts your feelings bro....

You tell me who would have done a better job rebounding against Patric in the post than Maymon though? No one else matches up against him and was fighting with him like Maymon was.

You telling me a timeout was the reason we went on that 3 minute dry streak was because of a timeout and not our poor shot selection by our players tells me all I need to know about your basketball IQ.

Young had a crappy game. The story in this game was they got more from their bench than we did.

Those of you claiming the sky is falling and say we should fire Cuonzo immediately to salvage our season, please go back to putting the for-sale signs in Butch's yard. You guys are laughable.:salute: GBO and Go RATIONAL Tennessee fans. Let the season play out, then make your judgement on Zo and our team, all i ask. Criticism is okay, but this is getting ridiculous.

Agree that we shouldn't fire Cuonzo until after the season (what the hell is the point?).

Agree Volnation tends to overreact.

Not sure if you agree, but I think Martin is likely done after this season.

Cuonzo now understands how Dooley felt..

Or we played a tighter style down low to stop the back screens and kept Florida off the boards.

No, UF got 32 points from their top two scorers and 35 from the rest. UT got 37 from their top two and 21 from the rest. That's a 14 point difference from the rest. I aint John Wooden, but that'll beat you every day and twice on Sunday.

I do understand some of the main points that the poster is trying to make..This whole "I have lowered my expectations" stuff, really gets on my nerves as well..Sure, there maybe be some of the Volnation posters that have always followed the program and wants what's best, but they are very hard to recognize...It seems to me that a lot of the people speaking the loudest, probably didn't start watching Tn basketball until the Pearl era and when they started winning more games that they had in the recent past...If you are one of the ole school, my thoughts and comments are never directed to you..

If you want what is best for the program and you truly believe that CCM is not a good coach and his recruiting and teams will never be more then they are right now, I have no problem with your need for him to be replaced..It is the new school people that know nothing about the program and its Men's basketball history that gets on my nerves..I am not one of those that Googles everything trying to prove that I am right about every point of view, it is just the eye tests that I have gone by..The problem with those asking for CCM's head, calling him names, and the only thing they have to go on is, the 5 years that Pearl was coach, really bother me, because they say things that are not always true, to get people on their said..I do believe there are a lot of people that want someone else, and it has nothing to do with whether he can coach or not...People even say he was the political choice, meaning what "he got hired because he was black"? It is weird to be that most of the players u watch on the court of big time college basketball, or young black men, yet many don't believe that a black man is the one to run their program..They say that the area is going to be empty (while the actually attendance numbers are good), and they didn't build the area for such small crowds..You are right, they didn't build it for small crowds, but they didn't build it for Men's basketball either..If they went by attendance and the success of the Men's program over the years, they would have never built it...It was built because Pat Head Summit had a championship program..The court is named after her for good reason..I love Bruce Pearl and wish he still the coach, but to use him as an example that he team fought while CCM's teams quit on him, must not remember Bruce's last NCAA appearance, because that team had better players, and damn sure quit..You let CCM or any coach hit shots like Chris Lofton from anywhere on the floor and under any circumstances, they will win many games that this team have lost..If u want CCM gone then so be it, but stop acting like Men's basketball has not been what it has under this staff, for most of its history..The run they had under Pearl was not the norm, and it was going back to normal at the time Pearl got fired..I don't want medicore either, but don't act like that is not what we are used to, unless u were a fan for only those 4-5 years..LOL
