They have a home series in a couple of weeks against the Tigers. The Sunday game is at 2:05 in the afternoon. I thought that would be a fun one. A night game would get into grumpy time for him (heck for me, too. Who am I kidding?) towards the later innings.

a look to your left should give you an answer. Grew up with dual citizenship to the A's and Braves, but I lost favor with the Braves around the mid-nineties, right at the peak of their prime. I'll never forget how unsatisfying the World Series' win was for me.

Dennis Eckersley, Rickey, Dave Stewart and the Bash Bros were just too fun to watch. I still think Eck is the coolest man to ever walk the earth not named Jesus Christ...

Needless to say, I'm very happy with the start of this season and I plan to be visiting the AL West thread more often, if not bringing up my old Oakland A's thread. Let's hear it for those Swingin' A's!

Have always been a huge Reds fan. My parents are from Cincy and I was born there. They used to take me out of school to go to Opening Day in the early 90's. If anybody were to somehow force me to pick just one team, in one sport, to the be the only one I could follow and be a fan of for the rest of my life, it would be the Reds, no question. As much as I love the Vols, BGSU, Bengals and Blackhawks... they don't come close to how much I love the Reds.

Am I really the only Phillies fan on here? Really???? Born 45 mins outside of Philly and have always followed them. Funny though that I never followed the Flyers and the Eagles only a little bit. I don't follow the NBA, so the Sixers are out.

Oakland A's here as well, dating back to the 80's. Big Mac was the man(yeah, I know he cheated). Was also a Braves fan because well, they are local and they had "THE MURPH!!!"
