The Vols can literally go toe to toe with any team in the nation, at any venue (neutral, home, or away), and win! As a fan of 40ish years I love that feeling and am thankful! I try to enjoy each game, win or lose, and then hope we make some noise at the end of the year. I like watching young men develop into their rolls and hopefully reach their full potential. I like the coaches X’s & O’s. So much to enjoy about the journey and will always be a Vol Bball fan!

He’s won 50% of his NCAAT games and something like 90% of his teams make the field. How about spinning that instead.

Crazy how some people can’t see that success isn’t simply binary. There’s such a thing as progress and there are milestones that indicate you’re getting closer to the objective.

In the sports world having a consistently good/great program that can have you in the national picture is your best bet to championships in the long haul and Barnes has us consistently at a level we’ve never seen. Gotta have a wider view.

There are 362 D1 programs. 361 of them won’t win the national title this year. Sure, we all dream of the day we’re that one lucky team. But the older I get the less of a “title or bust” guy I become. You’ll just be miserable 99% of the time with that mentality.
