Playoff rankings are supposed to be about results. They're not predictive. They beat five ranked teams. They beat the team that just beat them, for that matter. They're third in Strength of Record, 25th in Strength of Schedule against Ohio State's 39th with the same record. I think the committee could make a reasonable argument that we're above TCU on the strength of our wins, but their biggest wins are on the same level as Alabama's and they have fewer losses. It would make sense for TCU to stay in.

I get it, but it's just something about one team having to play 6 ranked opponents on their schedule while the other gets to play 3 & benefit from 1 less loss. If u don't have a conference title your schedule should matter.

The committee wants to put Bama in but there seems to be a few that are asking why did you put Bama over TN when TN beat them H2H and beat both teams they had in common.
But taking the cowards way out saves them from having to answer questions.
I think a lot here rather we stay at 6 rather then rerank to 5 because they want the Orange Bowl

Body of work says TN did better against the tougher schedule.

Watching both teams I don’t think TCU would be 10-2 with our schedule.

I would love Tennessee to be in the playoffs but i want no part of Georgia again. The will win it all.

I hear you brother but you cant go through a season or sport with a subjective approach to crowing a winner. I mean how many times has a college basketball team won the natty but was clearly not the best team athletically. Heck all sports, all levels. The best teams often lose but we can't crown them or let them leap frog because the balance of fans think they are the best. Might as will not play any games and vote on it like a prom queen.

We got bitch slapped by the Cocks. Season over. No way to get around it. And I'm still shell shocked to be honest .....

I agree Cowboy. I’ll be pulling hard for TCU if they get in. Their QB and entire team showed heart last night that’s seldom seen. I sure as hail don’t want a yankee team to win it and screw Georgia to. I hate their guts and livers but they are the best team in the country until they’re not.

Im pulling for TCU as well. And Ohio State over Georgia. I would like to see TCU win it all or if they lose im pulling for Michigan to win it all. I dislike Bennett. He is to freaking cocky. And i would rather Michigan win it over OSU. But really would love to see TCU win it all.

TCU beat them just as Bama did. Looked better doing it. So you’re projecting They couldn’t beat Alabama. It’s just your opinion.
