Because we aren't playing him at RB. He doesn't have the body for RB in our system. He may play some STs, DB, or WR.

Good job by my boy Parrothead Vol. From that article it seems like Foster is ready to go, and Coker has a better idea of what to expect. Hardesty seems like he is physically good to go, but may not be mentally ready to go yet.

I worry about Hardesty. He's already been injured twice and hasn't even played a full game yet. I hope he can recover and get stronger mentally and physically.

Hardesty is the only one of the three, that didn't say anything about knowing what it takes t be an SEC running back

We could potentially have a 3 headed monster.

Can anyone say WISHBONE!!!!

(For the record, I occasionally run it on NCAA 07)

For some reason, we are at our best running the ball when we have 3 legit threats at the RB position.

hardesty scares me haha. it's nice to know he's still a freshman. Our runningbacks have a lot of hope and are young.

From what I understand, Hardesty was played last year because he was so physically impressive. I think a lot of the coaches said he in unbelievable shape for a guy that hadn't even been in a college weight program yet.

Well that's good and all, but I still haven't seen him play much yet. I'm not saying he won't be a good back for us, just that as of right now, he seems a bit injury prone.

I know this is the minority opinion, but I think Coker could overtake Foster and Hardesty as the no. 1 back. Foster and Hardesty are coming off injuries, and Coker has more speed.

I think another coach would find a way to get a couple of these guys on the field at the same time occasionally. Either a split backs formation or use one of them at WR occasionally.

I watched coker absolutely shred my alma mater his senior year. it was as if he was playing at a different speed than everyone else. fastest player I have ever seen. high school is high school, but it was still eye popping.

I hate to see anyone end up like d. tinsley, I cant believe they couldn't figure out how to use him anymore than they did in 4yrs. :banghead:

At the time I was hoping for Jabari Davis at fullback, Cedrick Houston at halfback, and Derrick Tinsley being a Flanker/Wingback. That was a disapointment. I think Fulmer could have done more to get those guys on the field at the same time.

It's well documented that they tried to convince Jabari Davis to play FB, but he wouldn't.

Coker redshirted to save a year of elgibility. When did he get hurt?
Hardesty got hurt early on, and Foster played hurt I thought. Don't remember Coker being injured.

One of the biggest reasons Hardesty was working his way into playing time (and Coker wasnt) last year was due to his mental understanding. He put in lots of extra work studying and knew the blocking assignments and routes out of the backfield. Hardesty is one of the hardest workers on the team. He is ready physically AND mentally. Will he stay healthy is the question. I hope so. But, if not it is good to know that we have 2 other top flight RB's. It is very good to hear that Coker has matured so much because he has a lot of physical ability. I think if they all stay healthy Hardesty will end up with the best career, but Foster and Coker will be unbelievable too.
