I'm not saying he won't be a good back for us, just that as of right now, he seems a bit injury prone.

This is what I'm talking about. From today's practice report:

Montario Hardesty, who had surgery on both knees, landed awkwardly on his knee and did not return. It was not clear which knee caused him to leave.

Hope he's ok. :cross:

I just read that at last night's practice, Hardesty was wearing a wrap around his knee and worked out on the stationary bike while Coker was wearing a boot on his foot.

Fulmer said Coker just had a "bad bruise" and hopes to see him back practicing on Thursday. Don't know about Hardesty.

i saw the same thing...not much info, but supposedly more to come on it tomorrow...hope that's all it is...if they can't make it thru the 1st practice in pads, that doesn't bode well for a 12 (hopefully 13 and 14) game schedule.

Yep, Coker will be ok if it's just a bruise. I don't know about Hardesty though.

can you imagine what would happen if we got suddenly "thin" at the Tailback position? ugh. I hope neither are serious, and both are practicing later this week.

and not that they suck or anything, but clearly a downgrade compared to what we supposedly have in our 3 ahead of them...

just saw the article govolsxtra...appears that both injuries are very minor, though hardesty's was a bit concerning because it occured on the same knee he had surgery on. He took a hard cut, and it buckled....but nothing was wrong...it did however affect his confidence, if you read between the lines....

as for coker, it is just a bruise, nothing serious, and they were relatively pleased with his performance in the scrimmage.
