Vols at Lakers/Pacers game

Dalton will not get significant minutes with any contending team at this point in his career. People keep blaming the Lakers? Trade him to GS, OKC, Houston, Boston, Cleveland Denver, NYC etc... and see if he sees the court. He is a moderately athletic, really good, not great catch and shoot player who can't really cover most NBA starters well. Love the guy but the reason he is not playing has nothing to do with anything other than he is the 8th or 9th best option to put on the court and having a poor defensive shooter is not helpful when you have Luka, Lebron and Reeves on the court who can all create their own shots. I hope and think he will have a long career as a great compliment piece to a good team but those who feel he is "being held back from being a star" seem to be living in a fantasy. This is his 6th year out of HS, which is old for a rookie in the NBA. He is what he is athletically.

Lakers are helping him get his percentage up by sending him in to go 1-1 or 2-3 then sitting him the rest of the game. Haha.

Luka is putting him in good spots. The Grizzlies are a potential first round matchup that DK may play a lot in. The Grizz arent great at guarding the 3 and the Lakers could defensively hide Luka and DK on Wells/V Williams on the Grizz

Yeah, when Luka penetrates he has Knecht open in the corner a lot. I don’t really watch the NBA but I watch the Lakers hoping to catch him for a few minutes. I’d rather pay for league pass to watch him play 30 minutes a game with another team, but he’s got a shot to get a ring, imo.

He's in a good spot long term. If he wants consistent minutes, he's going to have to play D just because Luka doesn't....
