There are only 3 teams in the SEC with more than 1 home loss. SEC teams are 141-15 at home vs 27-23 on the road. When you factor in most SEC losses happened in conference play.. yeah home court in the SEC is a big deal. it is in college basketball in general but more so here where the competition is high. The talent level difference between Auburn/Tenessee and USCe/Arky is not as big as it is between say Duke/Louisville and BC/Miami. Every team in the SEC is top 100 in NET rating (South Carolina at 94 is the only team not in top 68) . Every other conference has teams in the 100's Miami and BC are 211 and 230 respectively. Seeing that Div1 basketball is comprised of 364 teams it could be argued there are no terrible teams in the SEC unless compared to the other teams in the SEC. Even USCe is rated better than 75% of the rest of the teams in the country.Yet 2 of the top 3 ranked teams in the SEC lost at home last night?
Yep, Auburn is the best team , and now it appears that Florida, Bama, Om, Uk, & A&M may be above Tennessee. Vols are to dang inconsistent, look at the 2 halves vs Ga.Auburn is unbeaten in SEC Play and Alabama and Ole Miss look elite. I don't think they are going to get beat up too hard. I think Auburn is heading towards overall 1 seed.
Yeah well, with the upcoming SEC games, and Tennessee so inconsistent, they will get beat every time they start so slowly. It'll be like Fla. Not moaning and groaning, just observing the evidence as presented.GEEEEze Loueeeezzzee...................its way early to start whining, questioning, moaning and groaning...............March is a long way off.
Good Team chalks another loss to a Good Team............yes they had Vandy on their Jersies, but Good non the less. Again, gain from it. Work on it. Get better................A LOT of basketball left!!
