VOLS fan needs your vote!

I know, I know, I'm about to get joked on hard!!! Had American Idol on last night because my 2-1/2 year old goes crazy for it....

There is a contestant from middle Tennessee and he is a huge Vols fan. I would label him a Vol For Life because while performing in the top 10, he had on a Vols hat and a Big Orange necktie.

One of the judges commented on the orange tie and Keith Urban commented that he was repping the Tennesse Vols!!! This was awesome exposure..

So to make this a cool thread, I am suggesting that bUTch gets it because my theory is that he's behind this somehow as a marketing/recruiting tool. I'm not sure we necessarily want recruits that "love" Idol......but that **** is global and the Big Orange was put on a huge stage last night.

I hope that dude wins it all!!! GBO!!!!!

LOL....I knew it was coming...you're right I deserve it...

I have a 2-1/2 year old that goes absolutely bonkers for that show.

Aren't you glad I watched it though? How else would you know this?

I have to admit that this is pretty cool. Hope this guys reps the Big Orange every time.....

At 2 my son was into the wiggles and cailou. Now at four it's power rangers.

Gotta admit tho I hope I dont ever see a power T in any of those.

Thankfully mine never got into wiggles but Cailou is on nightly...

I'm on the fence about Idol. At least its just music. If it were dancing with the stars I would put a block on that.......

I like to think that Vol fans are too sophisticated to watch crapola like Idle American.
Butch wouldn't sink to the level of some vapid TV show, so please don't try to associate him with Must-Flee TV in the future. Coach Jones is becoming a Volunteer Idol. That's the only idol we need around here.

My daughter went to HS with him. Definitely pulling for this guy. Great pub for Gallatin and for the Big Orange.
