I picked Houston as a loss because their #1 is pretty good. If we played them 2nd or 3rd I would pick Tennessee.

Texas is reeling. If they lose Friday night then they may be really pressing Saturday.

On Sunday, It's the last game I believe and I think Rice will be 2-0 and feeling "comfortable" playing the perceived weakest team in field with their #3 or #4 starter. (They play Houston before the tourney actually begins)

I agree it's counter intuitive, but still possible.

What is the ERA of their Number one Starter?

So are you saying this is one of those situations where a fan would say's their team won't the game but hope they are wrong?

Jared Ray is 0-0 with a 1.50 ERA. He has 10 Ks and 6 BBs in 12 IP. Only given up 10 hits and 2 runs.

As a staff, Houston doesn't really strike many people out, so UT should be able to put the ball in play and force the defense to make a play.
