Jeremy Banks did dress for practice. He did some warm up stuff then seemed to be standing and watching more when they got into other drills. I didn't see Treyvon Flowers during the few minutes we got to watch. Without Jalin Hyatt out there and no Tillman, Bru McCoy was running lead in the receiver group with Keyton and White getting the bulk of the routes on air with Joe Milton. Milton throw the ball well and was sharp in that drill.

As for Nico, he throws a pretty ball. He's tall and honestly he's not as skinny as everyone lets on. He's two days into trying to figure things out, but the ball comes out of his hand well there's no doubt about that. It's easy to see why school's coveted him.

I love Nathan Leacock's size. He has a frame to add weight and looks like a guy who could muscle people around.

Lang seems to have some quickness to him. Robinson and Trevor Duncan are learning the Rodney way. Caleb Herring needs weight. Airon Carter practiced on Friday but was doing drills on the side on Saturday. Moves well for sure.

Jordan Matthews and Cristian Conyer were going to drills for the first time today as they didn't get their physicals done till Friday. Caleb Herring needs to add weight as you would expect, but he's not significantly smaller than Josh Josephs, who also needs to add weight.

Tennessee's quarterbacks mostly worked underneath on shorter throws on Saturday morning, but they did look crisp. They worked different routes with the running backs out of the backfield early on as well. Joe Milton spent time coaching Nico Iamaleava up after each session, as the two seem to be hitting it off well. As expected, Iamaleava's off is live and certainly looks like he has the zip and touch to make all of the throws Tennessee will want him to make.

Today, we saw Bru McCoy, Ramel Keyton and Squirrel White first though the line as expected. Keep in mind, the Vols will certainly need younger guys to step in behind those guys, as Jimmy Calloway and Jimmy Holiday both entered the transfer portal earlier this month.

Sham Umarov had a couple of nice reps with his feet working with the offensive line. Thought overall, this group of guys looked as you would expect coming in and getting a jumpstart on their career.

Below is a list of the freshmen that have joined Tennessee for bowl practice so far.
QB Nico Iamaleava
OL Sham Umarov
OL Vysen Lang
DL Nathan Robinson
Edge Caleb Herring
CB Jordan Matthews
CB Cristian Conyer
CB Rickey Gibson
WR Nathan Leacock
Safety Jack Luttrell
Safety John Slaughter II
Linebacker Arion Carter
Linebacker Jeremiah Telander
Linebacker Jalen Smith

That is a lot of EE's getting early practice reps. I remember having 1 EE last year for bowl practice. Looks like a lot of players are ready to come in and work for playing time.
Was thinking the same thing. 15 of them this year in comparison. That has to help development long term. Gives them a huge jump start on spring practice as well. They won't have to go through as hard of a learning curve in the spring.
