That just really sucks. BIG TIME! Just all the more reason to go down to UF and kick some butt around.

is that what it says on scout? i know on rivals he has dropped us from his top 5. his top 5 is something like uf, fsu, um, usc, and i believe michigan. he says he wants to play in a warm climate. i wouldnt worry much about these recruits looking at uf right now. alot of ums luster will wear away after a few losses and a bunch of these 5 stars will drop uf.

Hey maybe someone on here knows who to contact about players that need to be looked at very seriously. I live in SC and I know Dan Brooks is in charge of recruiting in this area. We have several here in Gaffney that need to be looked at one in particular is our Jr QB that is awsome and can play TE also. Another is a sophmore thats gonna be a heckuva player before he graduates. Please if someone knows who to contact let me know.

Not name drop'n, But believe it was surreal? Could be way off, if so lemme have it for the Drop.......But i insist (not that it matters) kids that visit UT, During the season realize Neyland and SEC Ball is thick blood.

We get the recruits we need!
Sure a HB/TB is going to be hard to allure this go around.
But any position player looking for a warm climate is looking for a vaction, and whom ever can have him! Maybe he'll luck up and Hawaii will give him the free ride?

"It's real tough. I know that a lot of my friends wanted me to go to Tennessee, a lot of my own friends are going to be going there, including Dustin (Lindsey, his teammate and a Tennessee commitment).

With all the problems cropping up at FSU he may decide that UT is the place to be even if it costs him a year of playing.

Not so sure if Warren's commitment is so solid. At one point his top 3 were UT, Miami, and LSU. Then he visited FSU and commited to them, saying he's been a fan since the 8th grade. Too early in the proccess to look at out of state commitments of that sort as solid. If anything it makes FSU the solid frontrunner for his services and puts a huge bullseye on them once the official visits start going. He'll be asked questions such as "When is the last time FSU really used a TE?" or "Who's gonna take over when Bobby steps down next year?" If he's still on thier commitment list come Dec, I'll take it more seriously. But I wouldn't be surprised to see him back away and end up at Miami or UT.

A little update on Dustin Lindsey, last night at the Blount County Jamboree..He had touchdown runs of 1 and 8 yards..Also had an incredible move that made everyone in the stadium go OOOH...only thing is i think that he tip toes threw the line too much..but after that..its hard to bring him down..Alcoa had over 200 yards in one quarter...they are gonna be a force.

Brandon Warren dropped a pass that was right in his hands with no one around him..but made up for it with a leaping catch over a defender..it was nice.

volsguy12 - What's your spin on Warren getting slammed in the scrimmage against Oak Ridge? He didn't look good in that one.
