Not a negavol at all, but I think the selection of teams on the bubble will not involve UT vs ole miss, arky, bama,etc...the selection will be between UT and other bubble teams from other, prolly better, conferences. I think the sec, and UT specificly, loses in that instance. They need to win out and do well in the sect simply to "break in", not rely on bubbles. I would hate to be a bubble team in this conference this year...

IMO, the top three teams NOT in right now are Tennessee, Maryland, and Boise State. You have to reach for some really slumping teams with weak numbers to find a BCS school that is not in the field and is above us. Boise's up there because of the year the MWC is having. Mid-majors don't get in as at-larges with numbers close to ours unless their name is Temple or Xavier.

That said, if we lose tomorrow, we obviously take a step back.

It could also depend on what place we end up in the regular season SEC. So we need to root for teams ahead of us like Ole Miss Arkansas, Ky & Missouri etc. to lose. Ending up third or so in the SEC or ending up sixth or seventh is a big difference in their eyes especially since everybody thinks the SEC is horrible this year.

Getting swept by Ole Miss and losing to Virginia also hurt. But, if we keep winning, it won't come down to being either us or one of them.

Ok bleedingTNOrange, give me all ya got man lol I thought Ive made a menz around these parts a while ago. Ive changed my stance on this team, Stokes and Martin. They are proving me totally wrong and I love it. This is the team I expected to see all year long..thats why I was so frustrated lol
