According to Jimmy Dykes during the Arkansas game. Legitimate assertion or utterings of a fool? What say ye?

That is nice and all, but it has to be UK. A ton of our minutes go to former walk-ons and juco xfers, we certainly make the best of it though.

I do believe we have the deepest talent pool in the conference. As far as the best talent; we're right there, but if KY had Kanter, I would have to give them the nod for "best talent".

Kuck Fanter. I don't understand why everyone want to crown him already. He hasn't played a single game~!

I just heard it myself and I'm watching the UK game. The quote was actually, "UK may have 2 or 3 studs, but the 10 deep rotation at Tennessee will make them VERY hard to beat. And that Tobias Harris, a true freshman, is playing like he's not a freshman."

I'd take best half court defense. With the talent we have, this would ensure another crazy run in the Tourney.

Kentucky may have the most talent but there everywhere with it they don't put there talent to good use

I'd agree. SEC overall is weak, UK has 5 legit guys, and UT is a top ten team.

I will give Bruce this though, I'm not sure how many other coaches would get enough out of this team to make me agree.

Its not really a question, UK has the most talent. However, UT is deeper and more equipped to be a complete team than the Cats without Kanter. UT is the better team at the moment. It is what it is.

First of all, this UK team is nowhere near as good as they were last year. Knight is not John Wall, Patterson is gone and they don't have a low post beast like D. Cousins. Additionally, UK has either none or 1 senior on their roster, so their leadership is seriously lacking, which you can see at the end of games when they play completely out of control (see the most recent UNC game).

Tennessee EASILY has more depth than Kentucky and probably has more talent overall. We have 13 guys that can play and do play. Kentucky played 8-9 guys against UNC, I think 8, and half their team fouled out by the end of the game because I think they only have 9-10 guys on scholarship. 3 of those guys are legit 5 star players for UK, but it falls off quickly after those 3. Tennessee has 2 5 star players. Two of UK's players in their 8 man rotation are J. Harrelson and E. Vargas, who B. Williams, J. Field, K. Hall, and J. Maymonn (sic) are just as good as if not better. Additionally, I think Liggons is comparable to C. Tatum in talent as well.

We are going to beat them in Knoxville, our guards will be able to control D. Lamb and B. Knight better than UNC's horrible guards. The question is we will need stop T. Jones and I think Harris and Williams will have a big task doing that. UNC's trio of post defenders dominated Jones and completely took him out of the game, but Henson, Zeller and Barnes together form the best defensive post defense in college. Bruce Pearl will need to look at Roy Williams defensive gameplan and find out how to take out T. Jones from the offense. If you take out Jones, UK looks to seriously struggle offensively because they don't have legitimate post threats besides Jones.

UK has the most talent, but we may very well have the best team, at least at this point in the season.
