Didn't most in the the ncaa world think that Kentucky could beat Duke last year?

Its not really a question, UK has the most talent. However, UT is deeper and more equipped to be a complete team...

I think Kentucky is more talented....I believe we have better depth

I don't exactly get this overwhelming praise for UK's talent. They have exactly three players that are more talented than an average D1 player: Jones, Knight, Lamb.

If we were playing 3-on-3, Kentucky would definitely qualify as "more talented" than Tennessee, although Scotty and Tobias and either Cam or Melvin would make it a competitive game.

But this is 5-on-5, and Tennessee's first 5 is better than UK's. It's not customary to call half your starters "good depth," as far as I'm aware.

I agree with the post above and Tennessee will do their talking on the court, once we beat UK in Knoxville. Brandon Knight or T. Jones are going to have to have big games for UK to win and stay out of foul trouble. Don't see it happening.

You are absolutely correct. Recruiting rankings mean next to nothing when evaluating talent.

UK has the most raw talent, 5 #5 star players.

UT has less talent but much more depth and experience.

When you're a top 10-15 talent before you've played a game in college - usually not.

Plus that guy has already played professionally.

and thats exactly why he shouldnt and wont be back.
