We should have a pool on the next NFL to be called up for FIRST time. Don't include guys like Godley who have bounced back and forth.

Reading posts from last year and thought came to me that Senzel or someone similar would be great with Braves as a utility guy for 3 infield and 3 outfield positions. Riley, Swanson, and Albies could all use more days off.

I’ve heard it said you can come back stronger following rehab from TJ. We have a vested interest ourselves in the rehab protocol….
I can verify this. I had TJ in college and was a stronger and better pitcher after. Keep in mind I had the surgery in 1992 so the advances they have made since then even better the chances of a full and successful recovery.

That's good to hear.

Can you give us any updates on Sean? Looking forward to following his career.

Bummer. Crochet has had a rough go of it. Lots of injuries early in his career. Rooting hard for him to stay healthy and live out his dream. Nick Senzel has also been hampered by the injury bug. Hate to see these Tennessee studs not being able to compete.

Thank you! He has really had a great spring on the mound. His last outing was Wednesday. He and a couple other guys also had the opportunity to be in the MLB bullpen for three games this spring. He didn’t get in the games but learned a lot through the experience of being there with those guys. He has mainly been pitching with the High A Bowling Green team this spring but not sure if that means anything going forward. He actually gets his assignment tomorrow and leaves spring training on Sunday.

Based on feedback, they seem to really like where he is and his results so far. I cant say enough about the Rays organization and the detailed and meticulous development of their pitchers. It has been tremendous. We are just blessed that he has the opportunity, and he is loving it!
