Vols...in Prime...Time

So you’re predicting us to win? I hope we do, but no way I’m betting on us - we haven’t played a complete game all year.
I already bet on Vols to cover 7.5 spread and moneyline. I like this matchup for the Vols. This team is going to bring a dump truck full of disrespect and empty it out in the middle of that rathole in Ohio. Vols are about to shock the world.

I think we are the better team too but we just don’t handle road games well. My concern is we lay a gigantic egg in that atmosphere.
It may be a bit of a novel atmosphere for the Buckeyes as well, they don't play many night games nor does the Big 10 as a whole. In fact most of their games have been at noon. Both OSU and Michigan have clauses in their TV contracts (regular season) that late season games won't be at night - both schools can and have waived that clause. So may be more of a change for them than us as we have played a bunch of night games. May not be all that rowdy either as tickets are going relatively cheap, $400. Speculative price for same game at Neyland was $1,149. We'll be dialed in, OSU may just let the Wolverines beat 'em twice!! GBO

We will know more before the game.
Honestly, I think OSU fans are ready to move on from Day and this will give good cause.
I think the Stadium will be sold out but not the normal crowd.
The lost to Oregon was close and gave them hope, but the Michigan loss was a big fart.

I have watched them, and I know their backs are to the wall, they have the most NFL talent on their roster of any team in the country, and we do not play well on the road vs elite teams. I have a feeling this game will look much like Georgia.
Whatever. You do realize we were in that game until late in the 4th qtr, right?

You probably shouldn't watch. You already have it figured out

Dude just admit that you're going off complete blind faith that Tennessee will do well. They haven't beaten a top 10 team on the road in 19 years, let alone a primetime night game with a fan base that will be more crazy than usual.

BTW Georgia won the game. Hanging around til the 4th quarter means nothing. If Tennessee loses to OSU in the 4th I'll be triple pissed off because I'll know we would have 💯 beaten them if the game was in Knoxville.

Anything is possible but you can't pretend like Tennessee has done something that gives you hope. It's just blind irrational faith which is fine but you can't insult other people who don't agree.

I see your point and the reasons you have given. Having NFL talent and using it correctly are light years apart. Michigan this year had no real identity, Run Game, Passing Game, OL line play, Defense in total, DL Line. They are good but nothing about them is signature unless you can hang your hat on an identity.
IOW they have zero 10s and a most areas are 7 to 8s. Nothing elite. The problem is I have seen them play 4 times Oregon, Penn State, Indiana and Michigan. There is nothing in those games that tells me they are elite or a force to be reckoned with or to fear.
Unknown factor is if Day can wake them up because they are playing and sleep walking.
They have talent but their coaches cannot bottle it up.

I didn't say UT would win. I'm not pretending anything. Believe me when I tell you I don't need a lesson in "blind irrational faith". Especially from someone who hasn't competed at anything close to that level

Being from Wisconsin it could be anything from 10-40 degrees.

I’d suggest investing in a heated vest or coat and an extra battery. Heated gloves and bundle up and you’ll be FINE. 💪🏻

I have been to games in Tennessee with it that cold before. If the game is sold out and folks are in the game, coat, gloves and some of those hand warmers will be enough.

But I shouldn’t watch because I’m keeping it real? Got it.

Load up your DraftKings account and lay it all on the Vols if you really believe they’re the super team you say they are.

I never said ANYTHING about them being a super team. You're ignorantly putting thoughts in my head. You can't be that stupid, can you? What you deem as "real" is just popping off your opinion. It's not outrageous by any means nor is it original in any form. I detect you have no use for nuance

Nor do you for punctuation.
