I believe it can happen man. We just need people to show up at Neyland and be the 12 man. We have gotten better and better as the weeks have went by. This is reminding me of the 09 season things are going to turn around for us soon.

We Have? Are You Sure That You're Watching The Same Team?

Sounds Like You Are Just Saying What You Wish Was Happening. They Have Looked Progressively Worse.

Clearly The Competition Has Been Much Better, But Still.. To Say They Are Getting Better Each Week Is Just Wrong.

I think our defense is making strides. We still are taking horrible angles, and we don't have a true pass rusher yet (hopefully Veeren, J.Miller, and Maggit will step up, especially in 2014), but we also aren't giving up huge plays over and over again outside the Oregon game. We are a WDE who can hold the edge away from being a top 25 defense next year. Having Sutton, Foreman, Jones, Williams, and Coleman back, all with experience, is going to be huge. I think if we land a JuCO DT, our D-line will be even better next year, especially with the addition of Lambert. I like the direction our defense is heading, especially with all the talent we have coming in next year.

This is a team that is full of freshman. This team has improved you have player like Vereen, Walls, Saulisbury(pre-injury), etc who are getting better individually. We are a QB away from being a decent team. The improvement is there man no they aren't playing like a top 25 team but there is progress

you should have part of your tuition refunded.

My first year at UT was Fulmer's last and I was there through both Kiffin and Dooley's years. If anyone deserves their tuition refunded, I want my name at the top of the list. I experienced the worst era of UT football as a student in my opinion. I never thought anything like that would happen during my days in Knoxville.

Let's not make predictions about being top anything.. that is just not what Tennessee is right now. I am glad to see better effort and intensity. Hopefully that will translate to a big win..

So wait until next year? Oh wait, now it is wait until two years from now? ?

That is a loser mentality. I guess you believe all kids should get a trophy just for playing, as well?

Man that's a shame its been since 09 since we had a quality win. I wouldn't call it a big win but it was a nice win. I thought our last big time win was In Death Valley In 05. Everybody who knows college football knows how extremely hard it is to win when the lights are on in Death Valley

As much as I dislike Kiffin, we did have 2 pretty good wins that year SC and Georgia and He did seem to get the players to give their all.

Kiffin can coach, but his arrogance ruins him. He doesn't even trust someone to call the offense at USC, and it hurts their team because Kiffin becomes a piss pour manager of the game. There's a reason why there is a OC and DC on teams. Look at the Cowboys in the NFL now that Garrett isn't calling the plays. Look at LSU now that Miles has let Cam take over the offense.

Our last big win was Georgia. Back in 2009, as a UT fan, you had every right to expect you would beat South Carolina at Neyland.

When Dooley was here, we beat a team with the greatest in-game coach in all of football...

.I was going to rake you over the coals. Then I remembered being a freshman in '98. And in the band.

You should get your money back. :salute:

As much as I love the Vols, I don't see us beating anyone of note this year with what I've seen so far. I'll be behind our team every game this year, but I am not confident.
