Niedermeyer up to 29th nationally. Attached link below which shows all our coaches and the top 10 which of course loaded with Alabama coaches. Anyway enjoy:

Don't get too depressed, those rankings in that article are completely worthless. Any list where Niedermeyer isn't at least Top 10 is a fraud.

I agree Ron. It just seems like we would have a few more highly ranked. Whats really got me is seeing Bama with 3 in the top 10 and UGA with 2. I know its because of their success but it still sucks.

I don’t care to learn all the rules to how many recruits you can get but it’s odd how we get a transfer that will probably have to sit out and he still counts against this years numbers.

Regardless their ranking I'm extremely happy with hard work they have all put in to get the recruits we have. No matter who u r if ur a recruiter at Alabama or Georgia it shouldn't be hard to be highly ranked but coming in to the mess Tennessee was in and CN being ranked 29th in recruiting (which could still go up) is something to be excited about!!!

I would do an adjustment by removing Alabama coaches, just because of Nick Saban, when he retires, it could change drastically. Once CJP has UT on the right track on the talent side, can he beat Alabama? I think he is smart enough to out scheme, but right now? nope, going 12-2 is not too shabby (we lose to Bama in the regular season and SEC Championship and win our bowl)

After Saban retires..........all bets are off........Tennessee takes over the SEC.

Recruiting is a team effort. From staff to players to students to university. The fact UT has stayed relevant in recruiting at all is a testament to the university. The fact the current staff cand and is recruiting at a national level and at a high level despite nothing tangible on the field, losing staff that hasnt been replaced speaks volumes for Pruitt.

If UGA went through our decade they would not be recruiting at this level despite the talent rich environment. They much produce on the field to recruit. BAMA minus the methos of Saban isn't a recruiting machine and would be on probation.

Actually adds validity to list imo. Both Bama and Georgia are killing it in recruiting, so it would stand to reason that they have a number of coaches recognized near the top of the list.

remember who beat the Bear and caused him to retire?
“Caused him to retire”? I don’t think so. I think age and health issues caused Bear to retire after the 1982 Liberty Bowl. He literally passes away about 4 weeks after the game. To say that Tennessee or a Tennessee coach “caused Bear to retire” is foolish.

I believe each recruiting service have it's own recruiter rankings but is there a master one so to speak that's recognized above all? Don't beat me up to bad not knowing 😳

The facts: In 1982 Bama came into Knoxville with a five game winning streak on the year and a number 2 national ranking. Bama lost 35-28. They later suffered a three game losing streak to LSU, Southern Mississippi, and Auburn, and the Bear decided that he had had enough!

You would be foolish to think that the Tennessee loss did not start the wheels to roll!

I want to thank God, my family and Liberty Vol and The FREAK for believing in me to reach this momentous goal of 2000 likes. It was a team effort :)

That’s what happens when you get the majority of the five star players. We have to win some games before we really have a shot. These kids wanna play for championships. Right now we can’t pitch that. And I agree it does suck.
