Vols' "New Worley"

He's managing the game and doesn't seem to be rattled as much as last year. Honestly, he had a couple of NFL type throws last week. The throw to Smith on the sideline last week was one of the best throws I've seen in a long time.

That one and the TD throw to North were about as good as anyone can throw it.

I agree with livefaith and have contended for a long time that the biggest problem last year was the receivers and not the QB's. This year... oddly enough... many could end up giving Worley too much credit. We saw him make a few throws like that last year so the ability has been there... just not the confidence to make the throw to the receivers he had.

He also made some throws like that to D Rogers as a Fr vs MTSU.

I think tomorrow will be the deciding factor on Old Worley versus New Worley.

Going up against the big boys tomorrow instead of the JV.

OU fan here..... I've seen enough of Worley this year to say that I'm impressed so far. If he gets a little time (he doesn't seem to need much) then he will find his receivers. That is worrisome to me. Butch will most likely try to shorten the game and sustain long drives to win TOP. Since OU is deeper he needs to lessen the chance of his team wearing out in the 4th quarter. Something to watch.
