Sure but Kentucky also brought in a rams assistant and fired Eddie Gran. It’s the same thing. You don’t know what’s going to happen until you see it.Idk if you know this but Pruitt and his anemic offense are no longer in Knoxville. We have an offense that is a WR’s dream now.
Meanwhile UK still has the same coach with multiple years of evidence that show his teams can’t throw the ball.

Sure and look at the Rams offense. It’s the same thing dawg. You can’t make excuses for it. No one knows how either team will look. It’s dumb to make those predictions. Heupel is coming from a relatively successful job with players that mostly weren’t his. And it’s the same thing for the other guy. You aren’t going to know anything until you see it.Not the same thing. Just recently you can look at Mizzou and UCF for examples of Heup’s offense.
The only time that cat has been an OC was at Maine 2016-2017. In 2016 Maine averaged 22 ppg, in 2017 they averaged 24 ppg.
They are not at all the same thing.

The only thing that matters is how these guys sell their brand of football to recruits.

Nothing cool about going to KentuckyShould become a great WR for the Big Blue.
Kentucky knows how to produce edge rushers too. It's not a dumb move by the brothers.
UK will at least give him a shot at QB.
Just have to keep recruiting. Not really concerned about recruiting right now.
Need one our QB to lead us out of the darkness
I don’t think it’ll actually be that low. Won’t be what we’re used to at all but 25-30 range should be about right. The staff will get solid commits once there’s been time for relationships to develop and there’s a product on the field.
if Heupel does this, he’ll be in coach of the year talks, and we’d almost certainly be firmly in the top 25 for recruiting. I don’t think it’ll happen but you’d be lowballing to say we’d “only sniff” the top 25 recruiting classes if that happened. Take Ole Miss for example. When Kiffin was hired he inherited a 4-8 team and he at one point had a recruiting class almost ranked in the hundreds. Then the season came around and he won 5 games and ended up with the No. 17 class. If Heupel does anything like you said, he’d put together a pretty good class. I understand we have the NCAA looming over the program, but kids will want to come and play for this staff if they give them reasons to no matter the situation. It’s gonna easily be that low. We are way behind in recruiting right now. The only plausible way I see us sniffing a top 25 class is if we beat UF, UGA or Bama and win 8 games. 25-30 range just puts us even further behind in the SEC.
I don’t put any of this on Heupel and his staff. They walked into a literal worst case scenario. It’s gonna take 3 years for us to get back into the top 25 in recruiting in my opinion. I hope I am wrong.
Dooley straight up did not recruit at all and still had top 25 classesIt’s gonna easily be that low. We are way behind in recruiting right now.
