So are we gonna tell him he plays TE for us, and if he does commit, be like SURPRISE you're a WR now?

Yeah, thats not gonna fly.

Does for everyone else. Saban switches kids around, so does Meyer. Hell, Meyer told other QB's that he was recruiting Tebow to play LB.

I hope its bryce brown, but we didn't get anyone to block for him. I bet if its anyone, its jackson.

I'd much rather have Orson Charles myself. Bryce would be awesome but we need an offensive line to block for him.

Bryce Brown is the top player in the country and is being compared to Barry Sanders. He doesn't need as much blocking as most backs. I take Bryce over every other player in the country.

Yeah, and now that kid is playing at Ole Miss and has that published in a book.

If he's not willing to do it for Malik Stokes so we get both him and his brother, what makes you think he'd do it for him?

members of our staff have visited him in Kansas at least twice. I know it was confirmed we visited him as recently as Saturday before the dead period.

if Butler wants to get Bryce the most attention, Tennessee is going to get a lot more publicity these next few years over programs like Miami/Oregon/Auburn.

USC is big, too, but teams on the east coast definitely get the most media coverage.

I still think the O-lineman comment is overrated. I think the top guys he was watching went to different schools.

We'll see. He would definitely be able to sway him if he wanted to. Better stats to be had at WR, you don't have to get in the junk at the line of scrimmage.

You're entitled to your opinion. Every back needs blocking.

So Schofield and Revis ceased to exist?

I suppose when you're in full fledged meltdown mode facts are just minor things to get wrapped up in, right?

question of the day...what constitutes soon?

:hi:I believe "sooner" would represent a time closer to now than "later" would be.

C'mon folks give the Coach a break..... I know it is tough but try not to hang on every word in hopes of finding something to complain about. :horse:
For some of you it may be hard to believe but something good will likely come of our coaching staff change.

:td:

I Love My Vols!!!!!!!

If i were bryce brown and looked at who we have as a offensive line, both returning and SCHOFIELD AND REVIS. That would factor into my decision. Sounds like maybe you're in meltdown mode bud. I expected today to go about how it did.

I wish we could at least pull of a visit...I cant see him going to UT without one.

I'm thinking JJ, and we will see tomorrow.

As for BB, I believe he has NCAA probation nightmare written all over him and his mentor/agent/rap wannabe/cell phone callcenter manager(wtf?) whose trying to pushthe CFL for 5 million until he waits the 3yrs for the NFL.

Charles and Stocker share playing time?

Maybe some Double TE sets?

My guess is that they will move Aaron Douglas to OL and bring in a faster TE. He's got the size and frame for OT and is athletic as well. His dad was a UT and NFL OL. At 6'8" he only needs to add about 20 lbs to be a legit OT.
