As much as people on here don't want to admit, we aren't in terrible position right now. our rpi is much better than last season. Could we have been better yes, should we be in better position yes. But by no means are we out of it already like so many on here want to believe.

Good post sir

Really hoping for no worse than a 9 seed. A win on Tuesday would have us going in the right direction no doubt

I have come to the realization that if we didn't have bubble issues and Rpi projections to discuss we wouldn't have anything.

It's the CCM way around here

I came to the realization that you are one of the biggest Debbie downers on this board and every post you post is negative...

Would rather be a 10 than an 8 or 9 seed. Don't want a 1 seed in the first round

Another thinly veiled jab at a coach who you're allegedly dying to support.

I could see a few bid stealers come out of conferences like the A10, WCC, and particularly the MWC

Do you not think other teams have these "bracketology" links posted, and discuss them?

I can assure you there aren't annual discussions amongst programs on firm standing about raising their RPIS enough to get meet the bare minimum to squeak into the NCAA.

There are many teams that can never have this discussion because they are hardly successful enough to be in this position. South Carolina, Georgia, and Auburn come to mind in recent years.

In our case it probably doesn't help that virtually the same conversation has been going on in the football forum the last few years. :)

How is a 10 seed not on the bubble again? What a joke it would be for this team to earn a 10 seed.

This. Just sucks that as a Vol fan the last time we had any post season play (I'm not counting the NIT) was in what 2010? When we got blown out by 30 to Michigan. Our fans are desperate for something.
